Low Cost Car Rental are members of the USAFE VAT Relief Program, VAT being something like a sales tax.
Military and Civilians on orders to the UK with ration privileges are eligible for VAT exemption for certain purchases. Through the VAT Relief office, you can process a VAT-free transaction made with LCCR for rental values over £100 (VAT inclusive), for a small fee.
